The bag has minimal wear to the lining. It has a zip top closure with a one compartment and a zip closure, side pocket. It has two handles with brass hardware. The suede looks great to me - there is some wear to the leather, ribbed edges- see pictures. It is definitely from the late 1960s- early 1970s, based on its style. These issues are minimal and cosmetic, with no effect on the wearability of the purse.

The interior has the Made in Italy, Gucci stamp, as it predates serial numbers. The purse is a rich, burgundy red suede with matching leather. I also have the version of this purse with a detachable shoulder strap in dark brown and navy blue!
