* For sale is an early, vintage, Gucci, buttery soft black leather, doctor's satchel with gold tone GG logo hardware, a hinged opening, and a longer, leather shoulder strap! This is an early, 1960's Gucci satchel style purse! It is an unusual take on the more classic satchel styles we later in the 20th century from Gucci but it has the same timeless style!

This is a fabulous, mid to later 20th century, vintage, GUCCI, all leather, doctor's satchel style purse that was treated with kid gloves! It made of supple black leather with stitched accents throughout the purse- at the corners, the sides, piping, trim, and at the opening around the snap top closure .

The piece is in mint vintage condition! The interior is made of a very clean black leather lining. There is one compartment with a zip close pocket with its gold Gucci fob. Inside, it has an early, gold embossed, Gucci crest surrounded by 'Gucci' and 'Italy' and the serial #406.001.1896 is embossed in gold on the top of the interior in front- see pictures.
